Most people will put something along the lines of "I took the TV remote apart when I was four." Not me; Legos were where I really started to become interested in how things work, how parts interact, and the possibilities out of random parts. Legos turned into audio equipment, audio equipment turned into computers, and computers turned into network infrastructure. So, here we are.

As a young adult, I learned very quickly that nice things in life are pretty expensive. It took awhile longer to figure out that with enough effort, planning, and big enough testes, a product that better suites your needs can be had. You just have to be willing to put in the work.

I've worked in many different industries over the years: automechanics, HVAC, technology, etc. Through previous employement, I became certified where I could in order to learn more about each role and to become more knowledgable in those fields. Doing so has helped in many situations, such as owning a home, repairing my own car or cell phone, assembling a computer that best suites my needs, etc. While the certifications have since expired, the knowledge gained has not.
